Applebee's
City: Elk Grove 8pm
Summary:
On this night, our server was Brandon "C" and I must say he was very personable, and he definitely help keep a smile on our faces. He was prompt, and showed the perfect amount of humor. As we all know, Applebees is your normal night out family restaurant and I think that's what they excel at. They're not trying to knock your socks off by being a '5 star' restaurant when they're not. They simply provide a very full menu of items and a place for you to come and enjoy a laugh with friends! As for the food, I must say that Applebee's has some KILLER appetizers! Wow! Great stuff, although not great for you, but they do dedicate a whole section of their menu to health alternative entrees. During our visit, we enjoyed a few flavors of sangria (recommended by Brandon who wasn't old enough to drink one yet, but knew we would like it). The feature entree which I tried was the Mexican Quesadilla Cheeseburger. It was a mexican style cheeseburger with guacamole melted down on thick flatbread tortillas. It was very different, and good although I'll try something different the next time I visit. I did want to mention also for those of you who are Sacramento Kings fans, that you'll enjoy a compliment of Kings memorabilia from the early glory years of the 2000's.
