I had the same experience Markus, but I was at the Yardhouse in Hawaii… Just a little overpriced there, but still fun.

Ok Tony, we went to the new Yardhouse in Roseville since you recommended it, and we had an AWESOME experience!!! We sampled the brew and ate a ton of appetizers. There was nothing bad that we tried. Good call Tony!

Suzie Burger is a Sacramento treasure! But like Tony metioned above this place is all about the cheesesteak. Get one made with all the fixins or just the basics, delicious either way. Fun atmosphere for kids or just hangin out with some friends. Very much a throwback to the old days of drive up resteraunts. Plan extra time for parking. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting this Tony. I have been wanting to eat at Johnny Garlic’s for about 3 months but haven’t had the time plus my father is not a huge garlic fan.

Most people are talking about their bar but being that it was lunch I am not looking for alcohol but for good food.
My father ordered the penne pompadro and I ordered the garlic chicken with garlic fries.

I would say that their prices for lunch range between $8-$12 which is not that bad.The portion sizes are okay but little small for price. I was impressed with the chicken and the garlic fries were about as good as Gordon Beirsch. My father thought the pasta was good. Now I would love to try them for dinner and they do have Kobe Beef for both a sandwich and a meal. So should be good to try.
Also Garlic Focaccia bread was good and wait staff was nice.

Is it Guy Fieri good I wouldn’t expect to be because he is not the cook but 100% better then Tex Wasabi (also his restaurant and barf) and I would recommend this place to people who want a good meal and maybe a drink. I will be back but not for a while because my father didn’t see anything else he would eat but my aunt wants to try.

We have been to Henry’s several times, but this time the service was not at all up to par. When we arrived at our reservation time, the hostess said, “All I can tell you is I don’t know when you’ll be seated; no one wants to leave.” The server repeatedly told us how understaffed they were that night. The wait for the wine list was such that we actually started our meal before we even ordered. Fortunately, the food was as good as usual. Recommendation: don’t go on a “holiday” weekend (this was the Saturday before Valentine’s.”

Henry’s has great service and excellent food. Presentation is always appealing. The Valentimes special was perfect steak and fish combo (I’m not much of a fish eater and found it to be excellent).

We were seated within just minutes of our reservation time, 2:45pm. Management did a great job of forecasting the restaurant’s table availability. Service was a little slow, but it was Thanksgiving, after all. Food was good, hot and tasty, staff was all in good cheer. It was our first Thanksgiving going out for dinner rather than cooking at home, and Black Angus felt homey enough no one seemed disappointed we weren’t eating at home.

Felt like a typical cookie-cutter chain restaurant rather than a nice steak house. Service was lacking to our table, although two others around us had the full attention of the server and manager who seemed to just socialize with those groups. Food met our expectations was cooked to temperature. The number of televisions were distracting in the dining area, almost made it feel like a sports bar.

ONCE AGAIN IT WAS EXCELLENT.THE STAFF FROM FRONT DESK TO WAITER KNEW OUR NAME AND WITHOUT ASKING SAT US AT A VERY NICE BOOTH EVEN THOUGH THERE WERE ONLY TWO OF US AND IT WAS VALENTINES NIGHT.THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS UP TO ITS USUAL EXCELLENCE AND THEY MADE OUR DINNER DELIGHTFUL. BE ASSURED WE WILL BE BACK SOON.
